Introduction
Hello all! My name is Magan Higgins Gramling and I have been an Occupational Therapist since 2012, when I graduated with a Master's from UAB in Birmingham, AL. I have stayed in Birmingham as my husband's job is also here and have worked in every setting an OT can from outpatient, to SNF, to home health, and schools. During my first year as an OT, I obtained a certification in lymphedema, and since then have obtained other certifications in trauma, reflexology and functional nutrition. I worked for eight years in these various positions before becoming disillusioned with the insurance driven healthcare world and in 2020, one month before the pandemic hit, I opened my own business: Integrative OT. I worked at a yoga studio with a holistic PT who focused on women's health and wellness.
